Lovely team, great company

Pros

* friendly team * flexible career planning and progression * most problems go away in a company that's growing 30% a year, so it's pretty sweet all around * close relationship with other international offices

Cons

* there is no air conditioning in the office (though we will probably have moved by next summer) * our developers are based in Dublin and Cambridge, so if you want to hang out with engineers the Berlin office is not ideally located

Thanks for the feedback and for helping BerSpot grow! I agree we missed the mark on A/C this summer my sincere apologies there, we didn't anticipate the record heat. I'm delighted to hear that you love the career progression and planning and that you callout that growth cures many of our growing pains. I appreciate all that you do to help us grow in DACH and beyond, thank you for all that you do! -Katie

Great Job to learn new skills

Pros

There are a lot of resources to learn new skills for free. You get time every day for self directed personal development. The managers and team leaders want to see you grow. Also health insurance kicks in day 1 and it's pretty good.

Cons

The salary is not as much as other "first jobs." You will also have to work odd hours like 11-8 some months.

Thanks so much for the review, for your callout on our health insurance, and for your note on self-directed personal development. You're right that our support teams start on off-hours then progress to more regular shifts, but glad to hear you feel the investment we make in helping folks grow while they are here. On public transit, I'll mention it to our benefits team as we think about our needs for next year-thank you for the honest feedback! -Katie
