Thanks for writing up a review and for your work on our email team--I love that you call out our "do-S*&t" attitude, and I agree with you that sometimes we tackle too much and don't reach the finish line. I'm trying to be more diligent about what our team says no to in the year ahead and hoping that helps set the tone on prioritization more effectively. Either way, thanks for all you do for HubSpot and happy early New Year! -Katie

Numbers Matter and People Do Too

Pros

Action-Oriented: When something needs to get done, we get stuff done People Matter: You are valued as a human before an employee. The benefits are good, and they are becoming great. Availability: Leadership and management is both transparent and available. The best ability is availability.

Cons

Quickly Changing: In a start-up to scale-up, changes are inevitable and often. You have to be able to adapt - I like it, some won't. Work-life balance: Especially getting started, it's pretty difficult to manage your time, feel prepared and also enjoy life outside of work. You'll put in the time early.

Thanks for calling out our benefits and for the human-centric approach we take to helping people grow, this warmed my heart. I also like the callout for action orientation, and agree with your caution around constant change--HubSpot isn't for everyone, and it's good to note going out that we really do put the "A" in adaptable. I think your callout on the number or new folks is spot on--we try to do a lot of employee recognition through our peer bonus program, our champagner, and our champions programming, but will think about whether or not we should consider doing more. Either way, you're right to note that we should be thoughtful about how we engage and empower new folks and to default to overcommmunicating on all of that stuff. Thanks for all you do to help HubSpot grow and for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review. Sincerely, Katie
