Thanks for taking the time to write up a review and for helping our ops team scale and grow. I'm so glad you love dogs (we have a volunteer dog sitting program if you're not a dog owner yourself!) and that you love the training program-that team works really hard to make things remarkable, so thanks for sharing that note, I really appreciate it. Appreciate all you do to help HubSpot grow, I'm really grateful! -Katie

Amazing Place to work!

Pros

Absolutely awesome culture- yes the perks are fantastic (on-site barista, on-site gym, free snacks, unlimited PTO, etc) but the people, the transparency, the value on the employees and building teamwork, and arming employees with the tools to make them successful are just a few reasons why people love working here. I've worked in a number of companies up to this point, and I've never felt more like a company actually values me and my contribution than they do here. Everyone who works here is super smart everyone is incredibly passionate about what they do. The energy here is infectious and I absolutely can't wait to see what happens next

Cons

I've only been here a short time, so I don't have anything to note regarding cons.

I love that you called out the fact that the energy here is contagious--I feel the same way! I'm delighted to hear you feel your contributions are valued--I really want people to feel the value they help create here, and my hope is that things like our peer bonus quarterly create meaningful ways to make that happen globally. Thanks for taking the time to write up a review, and for all you do to make HubSpot a great place to work. -Katie

The Culture Isn't Just a PR Play

Pros

Before I joined I was skeptical about the culture and perks being a ploy to mask a less-than-ideal place to work (as is the case with lots of companies) but HubSpot really delivers on its promise of a fantastic culture. What most people are most attracted to (unlimited vacation etc.) is actually not what keeps me in my job. I get to work with the best group of people, both here in Sydney and all over the world in our other offices. I have a fantastic manager who pushes me to achieve things I never thought I could (or rather that I never *think* I can, until I look back and see how far I've come). The Sydney office has a particularly special thing going on. Amazing people, tons of fun, but serious about the goals we have and all the hard work it's going to take us to get there.

Cons

HubSpot is full of super talented, ambitious people and it can be easy to feel like you're not good enough (imposter syndrome is at an all-time high working here!) I find my work-life balance has ups and downs. Sometimes I'm flat out and all I think about is work, but on the flipside, I never get downtrodden by it as I have the best team and we're all in it together. The fact I'm able to manage my own schedule (when I work, and where I work) with no questions asked really helps too, as even when things are crazy, I can still fit my job around the rest of my life.
