It's a growing company so there are some growing pains obviously associated with that. For example, not every team is on the same methodology...some practice Scrum, some don't practice anything. It's a very engineering focused culture with little project management so sometimes that's stressful because you never know what's going on or what the focus is. It feels like there's an aversion to process because they want to keep that "startup" feel.
As a PM, you really gotta drive that focus or else things feel chaotic. Because each team is autonomous, you can try implementing some new stuff if your tech lead allows you to.
The product culture is also learning how to measure success with releases. It seems like a new topic that they're trying to implement.
There are some weird product/engineering things that need to be fixed, but it doesn't impact my positive feeling of working here. They just need to be open to new things and adopting practices from the top software companies.
