Pros

Lots of access to great new AI and analytics tools. I really appreciate the flexibility and autonomy I'm given. I can't speak for all orgs but Rev Ops is a great place to be, in my opinion.

Cons

Things move very fast. High performance culture is what leadership wants. Lots of middle management has been cut out so I've felt a big shift in how overworked a lot of people are. This has definitely changed how things have felt but the team has kept some core culture related things in place that sort of make up for some of it.

Pros

Strong pay (just pay not benefits) if you’re able to hit the insanely high metrics

Cons

Customer success leadership is extremely inexperienced. Most manager, directors, VPs and even our chief customer officer has never held a customer success role outside of Hubspot and it shows. Metrics change every 6 months, “urgent priorities” change every 30 days and there is no room to fail even if there are learning to be had. Leaders don’t listen to their individual contributors. Managers and directors push for “toxic positivity” that leads to culture of being on eggshells. When confronted about burn out leadership’s recommendation is to consult your doctor.
