Pros

The Chicago office is very energetic and fast paced. There is always something going on.

Cons

There is no room for professional advancement here. Promotions is pretty much a dead end job. I had two different people tell me that I could "shadow" a DJ or someone in the production department. Never happened.

Pros

Management listens to ideas and implements them. Employees are recognized for their work ethic and contributions. It's a friendly, enjoyable work environment.

Cons

While management is encouraging of growth - there isn't much room for salary increases or promotions within the newsroom - which leads good talent to leave.
