Pros

- good salary & experience - very international (great for experience - but can lead to poor communication) - growing industry

Cons

- lack of guidance & company strategy (very reactionary) - lack of career growth opportunities - risk (will Hubwoo be around in 3 years?)

Pros

The space they are in presents opportunity even after Ariba acquisition by SAP. Good mid level talent. Good health benefits.

Cons

The management means well, but seem to have no idea how to run a company. The Leadership Team make all decisions in a vacuum. The goal of everything done in the past year seems to be to sell the company. This may not be a bad thing, as fresh leadership may save it. Poor execution at every level. No one wants to take extra responsibility because of politics. Spread out workforce. This leads to massive amounts of unnecessary phone calls. Also leads to a no culture. It really does not feel like a software company. Outsourcing. They have chosen to outsource key core competencies.

Company has great global niche, some challenges capitalizing on it

Pros

If you work hard and take new challenges there is no doubt you can grow at Hubwoo into roles you could not have in larger firms. They are open to letting people develop. Global opportunities.

Cons

Global environment for such a small company means there is always cross-lingual and cross-cultural work. Often this means the ball get's dropped... a lot.
