Pros

- Really cares about its people as humans - Great work/life balance - Talented and smart employees - Super interesting problems & plenty of room to have a big impact if you want to

Cons

- Growing at a pretty fast rate and still working out how to communicate about the work everyone is doing - Slightly Nebraska-centric (where Hudl's headquarters are located), despite a large number of remote and global employees - Pay could definitely be better

Pros

Culture - The workplace environment is filled with people that are happy to answer questions and assist others. It's easy to get to know other people since there are lots of social events planned both remotely and in person. I joined the sand volleyball league and had a blast meeting new coworkers. Hybrid Work - Working from home or from the office is acceptable Constantly Evolving - There are new roles that open and room for upward movement

Cons

Remote work can make it hard to get to know other team members - With the implementation of hybrid work, a lot of teams are fully remote. Personally, I enjoy remote work but sometimes it's hard to get the sense of belonging to something when most others are remote as well. I've seen this cause issues with development for new hires and creating team chemistry. Corporate Athomospher - Sometimes it feels like progress is slow compared to how it should be because there are a lot of hoops to jump through. Overall, Hudl is less corporate than most tech companies. However, as the company grows it will be hard for it not to grow increasingly bureaucratic.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. While it’s great to hear that you’ve been able to meet and connect with some of the incredible people we have on the team, I also understand the challenges that come along with remote and hybrid working. You also make a good point about reexamining our processes as we continue to grow and scale, and I can tell you that it is a priority, and you’ll hear some key updates and exciting developments in the coming months. Glad to have you on the team!
