Beautiful campus; open to IT solutions as a part of addressing business problems and growth

Cons

Long commute for me, and very strict time & attendance policy enforcement recently. Organization seems to be swinging back to becoming more siloed and less transparent between teams and departments. Compartmentalization of knowledge.

Pros

There is a family atmosphere. Administration tries, to the extent possible, to keep employees in the loop by conducting Employee Forums and breakfast meetings. In this difficult healthcare environment, there is still an attempt to make employees feel important and as though their contribution is valuable. Many employees have been with the hospital for an extended amount of time...10, 15, 20, 30 years. The focus is on delivering quality care. Surveys are done to determine the benefits that are important to employees and their satisfaction level in their current position and with their current supervisor(s).

Cons

There are differing levels of accountability and employees who do not share the vision are not gotten rid of. This can bring the morale of departments down.
