Because it is a franchise, the quality of the work environment varies dramatically (I imagine). If the working environment is positive, this job could offer great benefits, easy-to-follow instructions for running the centers and an opportunity to educate children and help them. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience.

Cons

If the Center Director/Owner doesn't have it together, it is an absolute nightmare working for Huntington Learning Center. You will be overworked, underpaid, unappreciated, ridiculed and forced to comply with discriminatory hiring practices. And did I mention that you won't get any benefits (like you would with similar employers)?

Cons

Careers at a corporate level are derived almost exclusively from employees who worked at center level, however the turnover of these positions is extremely high.
