Pros

Culture, interesting projects, great reputation for certain practices, diversified services, etc.

Cons

Feel like we're trying to be all things to all people, living in Anderson's shadow, some of the people just aren't that impressive

Pros

Huron is well positioned to be a dominant player in the management and healthcare consulting arena based on the talent level of the employees that deliver the services the company offers. Huron also offers its employees and excellent benefits package which is important in the economic times we're in.

Cons

Hardwork is often times marginally recognized. It's certainly not a place to work at if you want to start a family. The company expects you to be available seemingly 24 hours a day without any regard to work/life balance which often times result is low employee morale.

Pros

In a challenging economy, if someone is unable to procure employment ANYWHERE else, it is not difficult to get hired by this company. This would provide an individual with a paycheck and some type of medical benefits.

Cons

The salaries are well below market. The opportunities for advancement are not based upon hard work and/or performance but rather some "other" metric that has nothing to do with performance. The work is not challenging and not competitive. (Competitor's are working on larger, higher quality and higher profile work which is not indicative of what to expect at here.) A four year degree is all that is required and, at the junior levels, a four year degree might be considered excessive.
