Had a very good job doing what I do best and was able to self direct my career as I was in a unique position in the company.

Cons

New manager came into my department and never understood exactly what I did and did not see the value to the company I represented. Hence my job function was eliminated.

Dynamic work environment, free culture and do not constantly have a supervisor over your shoulder. Executives have open meetings with employees and give good feedback on company status. Are allowed to grow givin the right boss.

Cons

They went thru a horrible lab manager who played favorites and gave the best review ratings to his friends outside of work. You can not successfully manage when you bring that approach. I have since heard that this has changed so maybe its not so bad now.
