At the start of the job I was given in house training. I had 24 years of working with the product.

Cons

Couldn't advance with out a degree.

Pros

Had a very good job doing what I do best and was able to self direct my career as I was in a unique position in the company.

Cons

New manager came into my department and never understood exactly what I did and did not see the value to the company I represented. Hence my job function was eliminated.
