Pros

Good monthly bonus structure. Consistent reliable scheduling. Decent rate of pay with regular increases. Contest incentives help inspire better use of sales tactics and value positioning. Good training program to assist in development.

Cons

Night shift work probability high in a 24 hour location. Employer will not accrue vacation pay it is paid out every pay period. Little opportunity for advancement to management type positions. Nature of position means high turnover rate. More incentives to stay longterm and grow with the company could help.

Pros

Good work-life balance with family-oriented atmosphere. Good learning opportunities and great to get experience in all aspects of oil and gas production and refining.

Cons

IT is undergoing a lot of constant restructuring and did not treat employees well. Need to give better compensation and recognition to employees who stay there longer.
