Pros

Worked with some amazing people, learned a lot from them. In some projects, felt empowered to step up and get the job done. Was often able to take time off to deal with family commitments and cut hours back in the summer to take advantage of our short camping season.

Cons

Also worked with crazy control freaks that had no issue throwing people under the bus to get ahead - including sacrificing peoples reputations and future project assignments. These people seem to be in middle management or contract roles that required people resource management. The behavior was ignored or condoned by several Sr. Leaders
