Pros

Flexible schedule and good compensation pay.

Cons

They do observations in the classroom and don't share any of the results with the person being observed. An observation of a teacher is suppose to assist that instructor in improving their skills if necessary and at least commenting on the positives as well.

Pros

Front row student interaction. Fellow faculty are understanding and kind.

Cons

Administration frequently disregards faculty concerns. Faculty salary/compensation is stagnant. Administration refuses to discuss/negotiate salary. Faculty are not peer reviewed by outside universities. Faculty development is not funded with high regard and very limited. Courses taught by faculty outside their professional/educational background. Many traditional Registrar and Admissions department roles are delegated to an already taxed faculty. Most interested in catching students while letting quality of education drop.

Pros

Great place to work. They care about students and staff and encourage professional growth and exploration. Caveat: If you are in the "right" department.

Cons

Uneven administration from the upper management - resulting in uneven expectations and morale department to department - To be fair they are improving as of this writing.
