Pros

They worked well with my schedule in high school.

Cons

I got sick and had to take leave of absence. When I told them I could come back, they just never put me back on the schedule, and I had to find another job.

Pros

I really like that Hy-Vee offers part time employees some benefits like limited health insurance, dental, and vision. Has free meals on weekends for employees that work those days. Will occasionally have free meal days on holidays or special events in the break room.

Cons

Management isn't great, but tries to get everyone the hours requested at least. Overall store management seems to be run pretty poorly. We get card tips in cash instead of it being applied directly to our paychecks. Training is abysmal and difficult to get consistently because of poor training management. Lack of communication from coffee shop management as well as store management.
