Pros
They are very flexible with availability weather you are a high school student who is in school activities or retired and looking for a part-time job (or anyone in-between). Hy-Vee does a great job of hiring a large range of people (gender, race, ethnicity, ability, & age included) and are a great supporter of diversity. They also provide a positive and friendly work environment where people go out of their way to say "Hi" and ask you how you are doing.
Cons
There can be some struggles getting a full-time position due to a small amount of full-time positions available and such high demands for them.
