Pros

Excellent staff that allows flexibility in schedule while going to school. Also allow you to try different areas of the business and learn various aspects of the company.

Cons

Although they allow you employees to train in certain areas I was told one thing about a job and have not been able to fully perform the position because of a lack of training now a year later.

Pros

The customers and my co-workers are mostly friendly and easy to work with. During breaks and summers, I get as many hours as I want which is nice for me. Most of the assistant managers are easy to work with and they make sure that you are being sent on your break on time and usually don't keep you any longer than your shift and usually I get off on time. It is a friendly environment most of the time.

Cons

The only thing that I don't like is the check-out system that checkers use because it is inconvenient to both the checker and the customers. I really think that the systems need to be updated. For example in order for the customer to see their discount taken off, we have to click the enter/total button in order for the customer and the checker to see that it worked properly. It would be more convenient if the discount could be taken off right away so that customer doesn't get upset right away. Another thing about the check-out system is that it would be easier if fuel saver items would be highlighted for the checker to see so that if I customer asks if an item is a fuel saver, we (the checkers) can answer them off the bat instead of telling them to wait until they get the receipt. It makes it very stressful for both the checker and the customer when something that is suppose to be a fuel saver item doesn't ring up right and we don't find out until after the transaction is over. It would make it more easier and more efficient if we could be notified right away so we can get the problem solved right away.
