Pros

There are some real cool coworkers! If you are a bonafide sucker management will love ya!

Cons

Get everything pay/vactation/full-time related in WRITING because they will have no problem lying to your face. And if you like to stand up for yourself they will want to get rid of you. You will be consistently understaffed and expected to do the work of multiple people and take the blame because management wont schedule help to save on labor costs. I called in 1-single day over my tenure here and they told me I had to be there or find someone to cover ( there is never anyone to cover ) Very glad i stayed in bed with a fever and a horrible cough :)

Pros

Friendly co-workers. If you're full-time, the benefits are decent. You grow with the company. Every day is something new. You will talk to a lot of people and garner a following of companions. They have charities, funds, and donations regularly that you can apply for. Your social skills will be put to the test, if that is something you are looking for. If you are ambitious you will have opportunities for growth fairly quickly compared to other jobs.

Cons

Terrible upper management. Lack of care towards part- time workers. They removed our discounted grocery benefit to increase company profit. You will be overworked for very little pay. Department heads are consistently overworked and will take their anger out on their staff. You will be forced to perform tasks outside of your job description.

Pros

The staff I work with on a day to day basis is typically sufficient to effectively run the pharmacy. Quarterly bonus is appreciated and based on the percent profits of each individual store.

Cons

I have worked for multiple locations and your experience, pay, and how valued you are is strongly dependent upon your store directors and HR. You will have to strongly advocate for yourself in order to get pay raises, and they will cut every corner possible to save a dime. Regional managers do not work in the stores, but they are the ones making decisions on how many hours each pharmacy is allotted for staffing, and they will cut this down to bare minimum, especially for pharmacists, to decrease cost. In February of 2023, they suspended the employee discount program, so that is no longer a benefit available to employees.
