Variety of duties. Customer interactions. Team environment.

Cons

Limited staff. Not everyone who works with you is a team player.

Pros

You get to meet some pretty great people – customers, coworkers, vendors, and salespeople. If your store is making money, you might get a quarterly bonus. A "good" quarterly bonus was about $350, but it varies by your wage and your store.

Cons

When it's bad, everyone is replaceable. And while you're working off your rear end at the store level, the corporate officers are getting promotions and new titles but not really changing responsibilities. The insurance plan is a joke, $35 to see a doctor or $75 to see a specialist (in 2015). I had someone at the doctor's office actually laugh when I showed her my insurance card.

Pros

Flexible scheduling, easy job, some nice coworkers

Cons

Most people are too concerned about corporate. Must put on a happy face and suck up to management at all times.
