Pros

Hotel discounts for employee's and family and friends. Don't work here, it's not worth it.

Cons

Was hired and let go after giving a suggestion. Manager took it personally and doesn't know cyber security at all. You can tell other leaders don't know cybersecurity either. They felt intimidated and will let you go. They will also lie to HR as well. If you want a cyber position with competent people, look elsewhere.

Pros

You will receive a lot of exposure in many different concentrations, stay engaged throughout the entirety of the program! I've worked for multiple hotel brands and can say this is by far the best company I've been with. If you are offered a CMT position with Hyatt, don't hesitate to take it.

Cons

Big adjustment out of college. You will also need to work for your success, they expect you to bring your A game.

Pros

Full benefits after 90 working days as well as accrued PTO and a few sick days.

Cons

Toxic work culture. They're the epitome of corporate greed. Management never fostered growth of employees and would promote people based on how much they personally liked them. They act like your friend and turn around to discuss your private personal struggles with superiors as a means to get you fired. I was removed from full time to part time because of unsubstantiated claims someone made against me that they never even bothered to verify or confirm. The hours are extremely long. Each shift ran 9-10+ hours and we were expected to work without taking breaks or being able to eat a single bite of food. The software and systems they use are breaking apart. Employee turn around was high and they always tried to fire people so they don't have to pay out their benefits. One time they gave me a "gift bag" and it was full of expired soaps and shampoo. I've never had a worse experience working in this industry than I did at Hyatt. There are way better resorts out there to work at.
