      Pros

      Great place to work. I really enjoyed working there. The people are very nice and professional. There is a lot of talent in the engineering department and front office. Management is great, and they help out a lot. Everyone is smart and hard working. I was very lucky to start working at this facility for my first job.

      Cons

      It is a larger company in a small town. It is growing, but perhaps a little too fast. Will I was working there it seemed understaffed at times.

      Pros

      Hydro-Gear is right in the middle of small-town America, and the pride and culture of the company reflect this. The culture is one of the more positive I've worked in, and everyone in the company knows each other.

      Cons

      The industry is prone to down-turns and with only one business, you have to realize your tied to the cycles.

      Pros

      I work in the Test Lab and it is very laid back and no one is breathing down your neck all the time. If I worked in production this review would be a lot different.

      Cons

      No clear way to move up, and I feel that I do not have as much incentive whenever I train to stay with the company.
