Terrible Company

Pros

It is a paycheck and little experience required.

Cons

Where to begin... The fight for insurance was nonstop. Repeated attempts to get my insurance benefits were fruitless and the company has been awful at being forthcoming with any information. The sole HR representative can only be contacted via email and she rarely gets around to doing her job. Good luck getting a reply. Faulty/broken equipment knows no bounds here and you can expect to be out of work frequently, without unemployment benefits to compensate you for lost hours. The management has no clue what they are doing and will leave it up to the technicians to figure out their own hours, providing limited guidance. The newest management is less inclined to use their single IQ to be productive and lead their workers. Most recently, there were a lot of layoffs, with those laid off being ignored when repeated attempts were made to acquire the needed information to file for unemployment. Now Hiring signs were seen populated in the office after these cutbacks. It is believed that the company desired to lay off most current technicians and hire new ones for much cheaper pay. As for work conditions: expect to be outside all day, dealing with disgruntled homeowners, and lifting a heavy robot out of sewers. The winches rarely work correctly, so it is advised you have a strong back. You can also expect to be mistaken for DTE daily. Overall, the management is atrocious and treat their workers terribly.

Pros

Relaxed atmosphere, could wear whatever you wanted, listen to music, good coffee, standing desk. Some work from home opportunity.

Cons

Low pay for comparable jobs.
