Pros

Hydromax USA has been a fun place to work. It is energetic with an open attitude for making recommendations on improvements to the way work is performed. It has a family type of atmosphere, were the employees seem to enjoy one another. It is a rapidly growing organization with a progressive attitude.

Cons

Because of the rapid growth there are occasions when the pace feels hectic. When hired about a year ago the paper work and on boarding was not smooth.

The rapid growth and fast pace is sometimes challenging, yet exciting.

Solid Company, Growing pains evident

Pros

Company recently improved hire rates, making pay competitive in the Seattle region finally. Weekly pay is nice, plenty of OT opportunities, upward movement is possible and seems to happen fairly regularly for the employees that are committed.

Cons

Mandatory OT, some crews get mandatory Saturdays, lack of communication from exec management on incoming changes, no real team building activities ever done so no sense of unity or team spirit. Different departments are often giving different information out because there don't appear to be clearly defined roles as the company is experiencing growth and roles are shifting. Company is split regionally but the core is midwest, and the differing management styles and work cultures between the two regions is glaring and often competing. There is rarely quick resolutions to problems, some of the systems are archaic and create undue hardship on the employees here to save time for employees elsewhere. Management often complains of certain issues for weeks, sometimes even pointing out the employee but never seem to actually follow up with anything as they can't seem to afford losing even bad employees.
