While I was on a demo one day, as a young salesperson, this was a question that I was asked from a curious group of Booz Allen employees. I explained that it was an OS product, and yes, the code was readily available to download on GIT, etc. They wanted, "ALL of the code"- and could I verify it with our chief customer officer. I told them I'd have to ask and get back with them. Of course the idiotic chief customer officer at the time was identical to one of the characters from 'The Californians' from an SNL skit. He could've cared less if I gave away half the company's revenue. Within WEEKS of delivering this news to the team @ BAH, they ALL, 1 by 1, resigned. They started their own company with the code, and eventually went on to sell it not once, but twice over now!
