Pros
- Ample research and learning opportunity, easy to advance if you are a hard worker - Cutting-edge technology stack - Talented and informative developers and engineers on staff - Relaxed environment with focus on learning and productivity - CTO really cares about employees and customers, developers get an opportunity to learn the business as well as the code, and have a say in development. - Fun place to work, everyone loves their job. - Benefits package and employee stock options are very generous
Cons
- Company is disorganized when it comes to communication, especially between departments. - Office amenities are terrible. Coffee and water is all that's provided, and access to both is a hassle (no clean dishes, no coffee is made, water filters are gross and need to be replaced... etc) - No relaxation areas, snacks, or quiet areas to study - There is one bathroom which is shared with the entire Sales floor. The men's room smells like death all day, every single day. It is hideous. - Support staff is limited (HR, office assistants, etc, almost unheard of), so engineers can spend a lot of their time doing mundane tasks.
