Pros

Small company gave lots of opportunities for learning many functions. Took the collision repair classes to understand the business.

Great Benefits but terrible management

Pros

The company gives great benefits, 4 weeks PTO to all employees. I’ve never worked for a company that does so much for their employees

Cons

HR doesn’t listen to employees, multiple employees being verbally harassed by their supervisor. Previous employees made HR very aware at exit interviews and Hr also does a company survey to hear from employees. The problem is they hear you but they don’t actually seem to care. A company is only as strong as their employees, if they have a supervisor that treats you badly your employee moral won’t be as high. All employees know it’s a joke to go to HR because nothing will be done about it.

Pros

There are a lot of wonderful people that work at I-CAR, you can find them in both offices as well as in the field. The vision and mission are admirable and the work that I-CAR does for the industry is invaluable and fulfilling.

Cons

The move to a sales driven organization has changed the focus of the work that is done and it seems to be all about maximum revenue. This does not align with the status as a not for profit. The actions that are being taken and the change in behavior are driving away long time instructors, volunteers, and employees that no longer feel as though they work for/with the company they believed in so much.
