Great Company with Supportive Staff

Pros

I have enjoyed working for this company. HR and the home office has always been responsive to my needs and issues while also giving me room to do my job and lead the team in my office. Leadership from the home office makes an effort to make site visits regularly and recognize achievements by our team despite being a state away.

Cons

Turn-over, especially in the outstations, tends to be a constant issue. This is a result of the contracting world and not the company. Travel can also be stifled at times. Once again, this is more a result of contracting world rather than the company not wanting to grant monies for travel/training, etc.

Pros

The company truly cares about their staff. Good benefits and 401k. They find positions for staff when we fulfill project commitments or if we want to move. The CEO has good strategic vision and is also fun and energetic. She is loyal and supportive to customers and staff.

Cons

There are no cons. If an issue arises, the CEO and staff work to resolve it quickly.

The Worst Place I've Ever Worked

Pros

Many of the coworkers in corporate were nice. The offsite contractors are treated well.

Cons

This is a culture of anxiety and fear. The CEO weekly goes on yelling and cussing tangents and bullying anyone when things don't go her way. There was not a single person that I worked with there who wasn't actively seeking other employment.
