Pros
Industry - Sense of pride that I am doing my part to contribute to supporting the warfighter along with other federal objectives Company - Sense of accomplishment and knowledge that I am directly affecting the organizations growth. A great opportunity to get onto the ground floor of an organization set up to grow. Personal - I have had the opportunity to grow my skills since joining the organization and continue to be challenged professionally.
Cons
Management - There tends to be friction between upper levels of management due to recent organizational changes. Subcontractor status - The nature of being a subcontractor means that information regarding the contracts is not always free flowing. However this is the nature of being a subcontractor and the organization is setting itself up to be a prime. Learning curve is also quite extensive for those that have not worked for a federal government contractor before.
