Pros

It provides services and contractors for federal government. Friendly working environment, flexible working time, good management, good health insurance, good dental insurance.

Cons

The company doesn't provide good salary. The jobs security is not that good under current economic conditions that federal budget will be under significant cut in the next few years

Pros

You will make a lot of money for a definite period of time. If you like working with the military and traveling in war zones as an adventure this is it. In general the client (US military) have high levels of integrity and treat other people with respect, but there are exceptions.

Cons

You are going to be overseas in a war zone. There is an extremely high turnover of people who just couldn't take it. Some quit after just a few days, and others after a few months. The possibility of being killed or injured is real. If you are not good at dealing with ethical dilemmas on a daily basis, this is not for you. At some locations there is a deeply entrenched "ol boys" club of unqualified workers that have received "battle field" promotions. They will play every game and trick in the book to run off qualified professionals. One manager went through 27 professional grade employees during a 2-1/2 year period; they did not quit they were ran off because they had qualifications for the job that the manager did not.
