Pros

- Manageable workload. - Bonuses throughout the year. - Good benefits. - Competent adjusters.

Cons

- Turmoil due to many people in upper management getting fired or quitting in the last 6 months. - More turnover than I’ve ever seen at a company. Both voluntary and involuntary at all levels. - Currently very disorganized due to a lack of managers. - Pay is below competitors. - You have to use many claim systems that don’t really communicate with each other. Very inefficient. They are rolling out a new claim system, but it hasn’t made things any easier. - A negative change in culture. Upper management was once transparent, but now there are major changes with little to no communication. - Processes to obtain additional authority is cumbersome. - A general sense that claims is looked down upon.

Thank you for your feedback. The talented employees who make up our Claims department are integral to IAT and deeply valued. In Claims, we have a responsibility to our customers for continuous improvement amidst ever-changing market conditions. To deliver on that commitment, we have realigned resources and talent, including recently promoting several Claims team members into leadership roles. I have full confidence that these changes along with our technology advancements are putting us on the right path to deliver an exceptional experience for customers. -Trent, Chief Claims Officer

Pros

The people in Finance & Accounting are great to work with. Hybrid work schedule is nice. Benefits are great! In terms of a diverse workplace IAT has initiatives in place and opportunities available that defintiely show commitment to DE&I.

Cons

Nature of the business can cause longer hours at times but work life balance is still much better than I experienced at my previous employer.

Pros

The benefits are great as well as the CEO Bill Cunningham and the Kellogg family. Bill is transparent and cares about his employees.

Cons

Senior leadership has a VERY antiquated mindset. They require on-site leadership for many jobs and almost refuse to promote from within unless it's a direct next step in the individual's job tree. Senior leaders operate on an assumption basis and do not listen to feedback from other leaders not directly in their chain of command. The company has a lot of potential, but at least 50% of the executive leadership committee needs to go. Their mindset is holding the company back, even though they have a profit driven mindset.
