Pros

- Manageable workload. - Bonuses throughout the year. - Good benefits. - Competent adjusters.

Cons

- Turmoil due to many people in upper management getting fired or quitting in the last 6 months. - More turnover than I’ve ever seen at a company. Both voluntary and involuntary at all levels. - Currently very disorganized due to a lack of managers. - Pay is below competitors. - You have to use many claim systems that don’t really communicate with each other. Very inefficient. They are rolling out a new claim system, but it hasn’t made things any easier. - A negative change in culture. Upper management was once transparent, but now there are major changes with little to no communication. - Processes to obtain additional authority is cumbersome. - A general sense that claims is looked down upon.

Thank you for your feedback. The talented employees who make up our Claims department are integral to IAT and deeply valued. In Claims, we have a responsibility to our customers for continuous improvement amidst ever-changing market conditions. To deliver on that commitment, we have realigned resources and talent, including recently promoting several Claims team members into leadership roles. I have full confidence that these changes along with our technology advancements are putting us on the right path to deliver an exceptional experience for customers. -Trent, Chief Claims Officer

Pros

- Benefits (PTO, Health, Bonuses, School finance program, tuition reimbursement, on-going internal education, financial advice service, work events, 2 days work from home) - they do attempt to value the separation of work and personal life - They do attempt to make themselves a better company for their employees, business partners, and clients - Awesome trainee program (networking, formal classroom, events, structured)

Cons

- Slow movement inside the org chart - Technologically behind (they are making way with new software for underwriting with multiple business units already running with that software; it’s slowly moving across the entire company) - it would be nice to see more use of automation robotics and artificial intelligence to make a more agile and productive business and quicker transactions.
