      Pros

      IBM has great tech but no ability to scale and move quickly.

      Cons

      Leaders who refuse to change and are waiting for customers to “get it” and see how much better IBM is than the competition. I’m at the competition now and IBM has never once been mentioned. Zero customer industry experience And knowledge of customers needs. Arrogant culture. Constant turnover. They have lost the cloud war and that’s the center of their strategy.

      Getting your foot in the door. A chance of getting lucky and actually learn what you expect to learn(coding, programming, etc.)

      Cons

      You might get your hopes up and expect too much from this program, not all the apprentices get the same treatment or opportunities. Some apprentices were actually learned to program and were exposed to a vast array of skills. You get an IBM apprenticeship that lists all the skills we were supposed to have learned, yet my team was limited to SAP only.
