Benefits are decent for me. (Not sure about families) 401K Match is also a positive, just have to wait until the end of the year to see it. Colleagues are fantastic. Flexible schedule to a degree.
Cons
Management for my current project is pathetic, they all totally lack any sort of people skills. Compensation is not up to par. In my opinion IBM does not pay anywhere close to competitively compared to other companies. As many other reviewers have said raises are near non-existent. My last couple of raises of been 1-2% which does not even cover cost of living increases. GBS 98% billable utilization target is extremely high. (around 40 hours of vacation, before extra hours are needed to be worked to make up for time-off. Friends who work for the competition have utilization targets around 85%. They get to work from home too.
