Pros

Had the opportunity to work on some leading edge technically, such as Apache Spark and the new LinuxOne servers. Also, had the opportunity to work with a Master Inventor on multiple patent applications.

Cons

You are very much expected to be independent (which isn't necessarily a bad thing), but at times when working on something you have never seen before, it can be quite difficult.

Pros

Management notices when you work hard. Flexibility in hours for interns. Working from home is an option.

Cons

Not much motivation to work on campus. The food is terrible and the offices feel like prisons.
