Pros

It has a pretty good pay for their college interns. They also allowed me to work from my house 3 days of the week, saving me on gas and time in traffic. I also determined which hours I worked.

Cons

They only care about results at IBM. I, unfortunately, was working in a research position alone. My teammates were not programmers, and as a programming intern, I was isolated. Not only that, my coworkers were all at least double my age with families, further isolating me. My manager only cared about getting results as soon as possible and rushing the product I was working on. He put increased pressure when I was taking my finals, not understanding of the fact that I am a student first, employee second.

Pros

IBM is a big company that has a lot of financial support. The technologies used is good overall and the pay is decent.

Cons

I really did not like how my call was rerouted to India because of my questions regarding United States benefits. I felt the outsourcing is a tad bit too high.
