Pros

Brand name to get associated with. Flexible working hours which after a long time work against employee. Option of working remotely.

Cons

This may not hold true for entire lot working out there. It is based no my experience with bunch of people working @ NCR region. This place is full of non competent, unfair managers who lack professionalism in big way. No feedbacks are given on performance of employees, general thumb of rule is the more you flatter , more benefits you earn. There is no such thing as Human Resources department, or employee grievances cell, people managers have all the powers and they make wrong use of same. There is no clarity, nothing is transparent, different rules apply for different people. Employee with commendable technical ability and proven excellent performances may be declared lowest contributor by tagging silly reasons like phone number is missing in signature of your mail. My advise is do not look up to anyone for help while having issues with your seniors, if you do, your name will be openly declared to entire world and then you will have to face consequences. And in case you are looking for role models this not the right place, you for sure will never like to be one of those around.
