Pros

-I love being able to do a wage advance. -401k matching is ok, but the pension plan is a bonus. -Quarterly raises if IPP is met. -Education Reimbursement aided in paying for my degree. -The Chiefs are amazing and really do care. -While pay is not going to be as competitive as a bank, the culture makes a huge difference. My job is my home away from home and I've made some great friends. -Hybrid option in nonmember facing positions Overall, I love ICCU. It may not have everything I want in a career but the culture makes a huge difference. If I could work remotely and have a 100% flexible schedule, my job would be perfect. If you don't like where you are at or what you are doing, change positions or move to another manager because it can make all the difference.

Cons

-No real maternity leave, its just Short-term disability for 8 to 12 weeks. -No fully remote options -It can be difficult to promote into different positions. You might get passed up by an external candidate unless you have a glowing recommendation from your manager. -I wish there were more operational/non-member facing positions on the west.

Pros

Wonderful culture, good pay, great opportunities for growth, community involvement. Love that leadership cares about their people. They get to lead with love.

Cons

Not many, pay can be lower in some areas depending on education. I believe you get what you want out of it if you just buy in and be patient.

Pros

-Match half of your 401k contributions up to 3% of gross income (so you put in 6%, they put in 3%) -Lots of team outings -Opportunities for advancement posted internally to give team members first chance -Quick PTO Accrual -Small raise each quarter if you meet IPP requirements. After 8 successive raises you get 1 large raise, and the small quarterly raises are increased. IPP requirements include: 1. Not exhausting your PTO balance. 2. No more than 3 unexcused absences. 3. Completing assignments and book readings, which vary depending on how long you have been in your role. -Lots of staff rewards: silver coins, ICCU swag, branch lunches if you meet certain goals -Birthday and anniversary celebrations

Cons

-Unexcused Absences. Being sick and getting a doctor's note does not excuse your absence. Previously was only allowed 1 unexcused absence per quarter or you lost your raise. They upped it to 3 which is much more reasonable. You definitely need to file for FMLA if you have a medical condition.
