Pros

* The individuals I work with are incredible people. * Executive team is amazing. They always seem to care about the members and team members. * The CIO is incredibly smart and has an incredible amount of wisdom to share if you get an opportunity hear from him. * Good benefits and pay for the area. * I love what I do and I know I'm making a difference which is rewarding.

Cons

* Work can be demanding and challenging, but that is IT and not specific to ICCU. * We are in an odd position where we move with the speed of start-up, but with system dependencies, regulations and security it can be challenging to move quick. Again, that would be more of a Fintech challenge than one specific to ICCU. * Compared to other departments it can be hard to advance and get promotions due to the time on the job to get experience.

Idaho Central has provided me with great growth opportunities, benefits, and fairly competitive pay. The facilities and amenities on the campus in which I work make being here a pleasant and comfortable experience. For the most part, I have experienced positive culture and have built great relationships with both of the direct managers I have had, and the teams I have worked on at this company.

Cons

There are not as many opportunities to work remotely as there are at similar companies for positions similar to mine. The pay, while competitive, is not unmatched. The credit union has recently moved to a new pay-raise structure that, while transparent, is ultimately resulting in smaller pay raise percentages annually, to prevent you from maxing out your pay grade too quickly.
