Pros

If you don’t work in the branch locations, the flexibility is good. Management and the team support you if you need to go to appointments, PTO, etc. There are perks that make workplace culture like lunches bought for the team, gifts, etc.

Cons

Pay is low for comparable positions at other companies. Annual review pay increases are minimal and don’t even cover inflation. They also are not based on performance, experience, work-load or other - Everyone gets the same amount. Also, pay is not adjusted for employees already in the position to keep up with the starting wage for new hires. So, if someone new is hired, they will likely be making almost the same or very close to what you’re making even if you’ve been working here for several years.

Pros

Culture is absolutely amazing at ICCU. The team members are what make ICCU a great and fun place to work. They stay up to date with technology and are always looking for ways to improve and innovate new ideas to make ICCU stand out above the rest of the competition. Their facilities are also top notch and state of the art.

Cons

If you are looking to progress up the career ladder, ICCU may not be the best place for this. ICCU relies heavily on a talent selection process which is a test you take for certain positions. To ICCU's detriment, I think they rely too much on the results of those talent assessments especially during the hiring process for internal candidates. Depending on your talent assessment results, you will be overlooked for certain positions even if you have the best overall interview with the hiring manager and have the most experience. ICCU can be very political as well when it comes to who gets a promotion. I have worked for ICCU for almost a decade and have always been a consistent high performer, I have developed good relationships with VP's and executives, and even I get overlooked on promotions I know I am more than qualified for because the hiring manager already had someone else slated for that particular position. A lot of this comes down to who you know and who you might be related to. This nothing new, as this happens in almost any workplace.

Pros

great culture, relaxed atmosphere, awesome people and teammates, empathetic, managers encourage taking breaks when burnt out, always welcome questions and learning regardless of how long you have been there, many opportunities to move around and grow within the company (primarily promote from within), quarterly raises, great at recognizing employees and teams

Cons

does not pay more to those who speak Spanish who have to take on more responsibilities than those who only speak English, does not allow remote or hybrid work when all day is spent in front of a computer screen (aside from lunches or breaks),
