Pros

Direct team is awesome and like a family. Direct manager is very caring and trying to make things better so we can attract more talent. I also like the initiative to be involved with the community, we have access to a lot of awesome events and networking opportunities.

Cons

Not a lot of control in branches- it feels like most things are controlled from up above and there isnt a lot of autonomy. No parental leave which is very unusual now a days. The Friday-Thursday work week makes work life balance a little hard. Pay is lower than most companies in the industry which makes hiring very difficult.

Commercial issues.

Pros

If you can get into the right department it would be a great job, but Commercial Processing has had some supervisor changes which has really damaged the department. The pay is good, but the upper management in this department is awful.

Cons

You can't express your concerns if it goes anywhere near making the facaud of "green team family" look bad, you HAVE to eat, drink and sleep green team. Very hard to work your way up or out of a department. This area needs to be looked at very carefully in regards to management, some very good employees are no longer here because of it.

Pros

Great place to start a career in the financial services industry. Growing at a good pace, lots of opportunity for advancement in areas that suit your interest, great team of support.

Cons

Just like any large organization that is growing at a fast pace, it is hard to have all the right people hired in the right place at the right time. There are some branches that are managed by a manage-up type manager. I mean a manager that is more concerned with how good they look to their boss, rather than developing their people to let that performance speak for itself. It is still every man for himself, and certain people aren't the best representation of the company, but that will happen anywhere you go.
