Pros

Remote work and some friendly colleagues.

Cons

Favoritism runs rampant in the public sector group. Good luck trying to be put on projects that you like. There are many managers here who are inadequate at their jobs. Do yourself a favor and stay away from the public sector group. Also, you will not make much money working here, and the benefits are poor.

Pros

I enjoyed the work itself.

Cons

I was really excited to work for this company because of their values for diversity and their awards they advertise for being a good place to work for women, but all I can say is I will have mental health issues for the rest of my entire life from my experience here. HR is complacent and will make up their own problem themselves. In addition to the original problem you were facing, HR will put a target on your back as a result of themselves being incompetent and shady. They have no integrity, will gaslight you, and will do and say anything to cover up for themselves. I tried to get help, and they completely mishandled the situation and made it worse. This was the most messed up experience I've ever had and will ever have. Do not work here if you expect the status quo. If you ever have any type of issue, just immediately start finding a new job. For your own good, do not even try to seek a resolution. Type in HR into the reviews search and see other people have had similar problems.

It sounds like in trying to broker a solution on both sides, the communication broke down somewhere. This is a tricky role for HR to play, but in working with them, I can tell you that they have the best interests of both the employee and the company in mind. - JS

Pros

Initially, the role seemed ideal, but it soon became clear that there was a significant amount of improvisation in areas that necessitate careful planning. Despite frequent discussions about core values, they are not actually put into practice. While the pay is attractive, it doesn’t compensate for the stress and strain caused by working in an environment that lacks clear direction. Take the lessons learned and move on.

Cons

Toxic environment, stress work, weird ceo
