Pros

For a publically traded company, amazingly focused on work that matters; get to work with folks who are passionate about their work; expected to work hard but it is apprecitated

Cons

Communication is not always timely; need to be self motivated to move forward so some folks get overlooked; some managers who are too focused on control

Pros

Some of the projects you get to work on can be interesting Good coffee in the office Knowledgeable colleagues

Cons

Low pay No work-life balance and a culture that promotes overwork and being"on" at all times including evenings, weekends and holidays. People might be friendly but depends on the team and the level of stress in the team Extremely disorganised Poor management

Pros

Flexibility of working from home or in the office. People below senior level staff are nice to work with.

Cons

Overworked and underpaid. I work around 60/70 hours a week and would not recommend anyone to work here for the low salary I'm on. All the senior level staff and above are all delegators and get paid the big bucks while the rest are left to do the work on low salary that doesn't even match market rate. I was recently told there is no sympathy for all the overtime staff do in the team as we should be able to handle the unfair workload by a highly valued senior leader in the business. That is an insult as there is far too much work for everyone I know in the team to handle with zero support. Only way to get work complete is to do the long hours and unpaid overtime and if you don't they bully and scrutinise you. Poor communication. No praise or recognition for hard work. They don't care about the hard working individuals who really contribute and make a difference. You could work every hour under the sun and only people who would get praise are the senior staff who delegate the work to the ones below (and most likely are taking credit for your hard work as they are the faces to the leadership team.) Avoid this company at all costs!

We are sorry to hear about your experience here at ICF. We strive to create an environment where people feel they have balance in their work life. If employees feel those boundaries are not respected or are being broken, we encourage you to discuss prioritization with your manager. Most contracts have defined hours to work, and we wouldn't want to go above and beyond the scope of work unless there is a contract modification. If this approach does not work, please reach out to your HR business partner to further discuss your concerns. --- SS
