Pros

Interesting work, great workplace and location, brilliant colleagues and good working envorinment.

Cons

The company does not value its employees and assumes everybody will end up leaving to a better job. The amount of brilliant colleagues leaving is insane because everybody is underpayed. ICF does not retain talent, which is a stupid policy considering it takes around 1year to get a new person onboard.

Pros

The facilities are very corporate, but comfortable and clean. The location of the London offices is lovely with an amazing rooftop. Healthcare, learning opportunities.

Cons

Main cons: Projects are handled in a very questionable way, leading to an obvious lack of clients in some areas of the business. I think some partners have been there for a long time. These 2 elements have one main dramatic consequence: a huge turnover, no talent retention. I have seen lots of brilliant employees joining and leaving couple of months later. Less critical: Salaries are a bit low. A gym benefit would be a great incentive.

Thanks for sharing your review. The rooftop of the London office is pretty amazing! ICF aims to select projects that align with our purpose—to build a more prosperous and resilient world—and don't risk our values at the sake of profit. However, good project management is key to meeting our clients' needs, and to support further growth, and there are several avenues for project managers to seek support internally if they feel they are struggling to meet their clients' needs. As far as salaries go, ICF annually audits its salaries and compensation against other industries to ensure they are fair and competitive. ---LL
