Thank you for your feedback! Excited to hear you enjoy working with your team and appreciate the learning opportunities. Consulting certainly has its challenges when meeting client expectations. Projects can come in ebbs and flows, and client needs can change based on their priorities. We encourage employees and managers to maintain an ongoing dialogue about their experiences and what they find meaningful. This can include discussions about their workload, day-to-day tasks, and growth opportunities. - KZ

Pros

Potentially interesting work Friendly team culture Good work/life balance

Cons

I was excited to work at ICF but, unfortunately, it was one of the worst professional experiences I have had, for the following main reasons: - ICF claim to be social value driven, but (in my experience) this is absolutely not reflected in how staff are treated - Shockingly poor business management and planning - Complete lack of diversity among senior leadership - Low salaries

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Glad to hear your feedback about a friendly team culture and work-life balance. Diversity and inclusion are a continuous, ongoing journey for us, and can take time in a large organization. While we are proud to have received awards recognizing our efforts in diversity and inclusion, we are constantly reevaluating our team structures, taking steps to close gaps, and identify data-driven solutions to invest in hiring people with dimensions of difference. We value honest and open conversations—even when it's hard. Employees are encouraged to reach out to their HR Business Partners or Ethics Hotline - this input shapes our strategies and helps move us forward. We hope you provided your feedback before your departure. - KZ

Thanks for sharing your review and great to hear you enjoy working with your fellow ICFers. Consulting certainly has its challenges when meeting client expectations. Projects can come in ebbs and flows, and client needs can change based on their priorities. However, most contracts have a set number of hours of work that cannot be exceeded. While meeting these demands is important, taking care of ourselves is a top priority. Discuss your workload and expectations with your manager. Is there room to negotiate contract modifications? While we want to go above and beyond for our clients, we don't want to exceed expectations at the expense of employees personal and professional time. If this approach does not work, please reach out to your HR business partner to further discuss your concerns and options. --- LL
