-promotional freeze - unrealistic expectations (2 years ago I had from 4 to 6 weeks for study handover, at the beginning of 2024 I was informed it should take 2 weeks and recently I have been told to complete the study handover (study at execution phase) within 2 days - dishonest practices while laying off the employee-even though I had positive feedback from the sponsor (received just before ICON laid me off) and outstanding Annual Performance Reviews (APR), for the same year when I was evaluated as outstanding employee in APR (Annual Performance Review) when ICON wanted to weasel out of paying severance pay- they put extremely negative comments regarding my work performance in my Employee Termination Letter. How come ICON that you employed me for so many years if my performance was so bad?How come I got so outstanding results in Annual Performance Review if now for the same year in my termination letter I can only read that my quality of work at that time was low, my communication was bad and that the sponsor did not want to work with me? The above list of ICON cons is not exhaustive. In my opinion it has all the traits of toxic environment.
