The products and some of the people are great minus management on the legacy Smiths Medical side and legacy ICU Medical. Also if you would like a paycheck, you can probably find it there.

Cons

Many layoffs pre and post Smiths Medical integration. Heard parental leave was no longer being offered as a decision by the board as it wasn't seen as important from a cost perspective. If you want a meaningful career, keep looking. High stress, low morale, spread thin.

Products are made high quality, everyone works hard, comp pay isn't terrible but not enough for hours you need to work. Good place to start a medical career and then get out after 1 year!

Cons

Leadership lacks confidence, knowledge, and strategy. They put the Smiths Medical sales team on plans in order to let us go. Promises broken, lack of trust among leadership that extends to mangers and staff.
