Pros

Most employees at the worker level are great people to work with - once you get away from the "Carefusion Club"

Cons

Too many to list. Lets start with company feels that employees should bow down and kiss management's feet for every dollar thrown their way. Management does not respect or acknowledge that people work hard and earn their salaries. Management pays lip service to employees but looks to sacrifice them at the first opportunity. One has to be ex-Carefusion to progress. Everyone else is a dolt who does not know anything about making quality product. Scraping by with regulatory agencies.

Not the culture that was described!

Pros

You can wear jeans everyday if you consider this a Pro. I'd rather dress up everyday if things could go back to how they used to be.

Cons

Since Hospira Infusion Systems has been purchased by ICU Medical there has been changes that has diminished the positive culture. Vacation time has been decreased, Sick Time removed completely, both are provided as one through PTO and is broken down for your personal use into quarters. You are provided your yearly amount of PTO but can only use what is allotted each quarter. The time management system has changed to punching in and out for everything and is a complete inconvenience to employees. Honestly, it seems to take away more of time worked and production. It is no longer a free work environment but quite stressful with all the new restrictions. There is a big lack of communication and all across the board fairness as to what some employees are allowed to do vs others. We have managers that pick and choose what's policy and make up rules according to what they want. We have work from home capabilities but some managers rather not allow this option simply because they can.
