Working at IDEA Public Schools is easy. Received a lot of help from teachers and counselors. They are flexible with the schedule since this is a part-time job for students.

Cons

I was hired as a tutor, but I rarely did that. The school schedule changes frequently with all the activities they have. I was never sure what I was going to do until I got there.

Extremely long hours, excessive professional development, scripted curriculum, no room for independent thought among experienced teachers, no tolerance for family emergencies - IDEA is your family -so say "goodbye" to your real family Teachers are held more accountable for student success than students or parents
